South Bend Police honored for helping to bring down check fraud ring

Members of the South Bend Police Department got special recognition Friday for helping to find and catch someone involved in an international check fraud ring. Last June police began working to find the person responsible for a fraud ring that spanned 262 cities and 41 states. Officers worked with JP Morgan Chase Global Security and Investigations and were able to uncover the fraudulent check ring.
