Former bank teller pleads guilty to embezzling

A 44-year-old Gaston woman who stole more than $241,000 from a credit union pleaded guilty to bank embezzlement Thursday in federal court and was sentenced to prison.
Teresa Johnson, of Gaston, South Carolina, was given a 21-month prison sentence by U.S. Judge Joe Anderson.
