Bank ATM skimming operation broken up

An Eastern European man arrested last month on charges he installed a skimmer on an ATM machine at a Holiday bank was part of a small group of men who targeted Bank of Ameria branches in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and other Florida counties, according to court documents unsealed today.
Alexander Micotin, 23, who was arrested in Okaloosa County last month, was transferred to the Pinellas County Jail on Monday on a charge of organized fraud and the criminal use of personal identification information involving more than 30 victims.
