Hancock Bank Employee Pleads Guilty to Fraud

A former auditor accused of defrauding Hancock Bank has plead guilty to bank fraud. Lisa Brooks, 45, of Gulfport, MS, worked in the Recoveries Department in Hancock Bank’s Long Beach branch from October 2006 to October 2008. According to the report, Brooks would receive checks for collection matters made payable to Hancock Bank and deposit them into a general ledger account.
