A 60-year-old Maine man is facing larceny charges after he allegedly engaged in a check kiting scheme that bilked more than $40,000 out of several local TDbank branches.
John J. Salvato, of Moody, Maine, was released on personal recognizance at his arraignment last week in Lowell District Court after pleading not guilty to charges of uttering a false check (four counts) and larceny over $250 by single scheme.
