All fraud fighters attending the upcoming BAI conference have the opportunity to attend a great pre-conference session which will cover major threats to deposit accounts. A number of industry experts have committed to cover a wealth of information, and all BAI attendees are eligible to attend!
BAI has made significant changes, and we just want to ensure our readers are aware of this opportunity. In the past, Combating Payments Fraud has been held in the fall and pre-conference session attendees incurred additional charges. This year, Combating is combined with two other conferences (Check Image and Payments Connect) and all attendees are able to attend sessions across all events, as well as attend a free pre-conference session.
Are you interested in ACH Fraud? Wire, online, ATM or debit card fraud? The impact of online social sites or of the elimination of holds on non-local checks? Are you interested in learning how one bank reduced their check fraud losses dramatically? Struggling with internal fraud? This pre-conference session has it all along with great presenters such as Kim Duncan, SunTrust; Raj Patel, Plante & Moran, Mike Mulholand, Memento; Mike Urban, FICO; Doug Johnson, ABA; Ketan Vaidya, Capital One and Andrew Moore, CERT.
This session promises a fast-paced, energetic overview with lots of information you can use upon return to your financial institution. I have the honor of facilitating this session, and I hope you will join us as we kick off the Combating Fraud conference from 8:00 – 2:00 on Monday, March 1 in Orlando! But remember – you must register separately to attend!

Unfortunately I cannot attend the BAI conference, as I am currently based in India, and my employer will not be able to sponsor me.
Is it possible for me to get access to the BAI conference papers, as the ePayments industry in India is at a nascent stage. The Conference papers will enable me in promoting Safe ePayments in India.

I certainly understand about the travel expense to attend a confernece in the U.S. After the BAI session, I will post a brief recap. I will also refer you directly to BAI for additional information. Their website it http://www.bai.org. Perhaps there is a way you can access the presentation decks or other materials.
Thank you, Shirley
